It's just too bad that Christmas was two months ago Most of my morning today was sleeping in late and receiving text messages from my manager. I hadn't heard much about the snow, not even that it was coming, so when she told me not to come in because of the weather, I didn't question it. I reveled in another day off. She then responded twice more telling me to come in but later, and then to cancel that request altogether It wasn't until she actually called to explain that a closer tonight wasn't allowed to come in because of her father and Mel didn't want to just cut my hours so she asked if I wanted it, that I realized it was snowing. ...of suck As it is now, midnight has struck upon my fair town and it's just like any other night. In the past years I've either hung out with friends or family to ring in the coming year. Tonight consisted of me working till 10:30 and rushing to my grandmother's to not really do anything worthwhile It's stated that what you are doing when you enter a new year sets a precedent of what you'll be doing for the rest of it. If that's so, then I'll be sitting bored at a computer. But since my Irish luck is basically Murphy's Law, then I should be doing the opposite of what I'm doing now.
